A tree is 132 inches tall. The distance from the top of the tree to the tip of the tree's shadow is 166 inches. The approximate length of the shadow is 101 inches.
(166^2)-(132^2)=10,132
Square root of 10,132 is 100.7

f(x) varies directly with x, the function is f(x) = kx;
f(x) = 56 when x = 8, k = f(x)/x = 56/8 = 7
The function is f(x) = 7x;
when x = 2, f(2) = 7(2) = 14
