Weegy: A good way to describe diffusion is the moving of molecules from a place where they are concentrated close together to a place where they are less concentrated or farther apart. When molecules are spread out evenly diffusion seems to stop.

Living cells use diffusion to move substances like gases, nutrients, and waste across cell membranes, allowing for efficient exchange with the environment. Enzymes act as biological catalysts, speeding up chemical reactions necessary for processes like metabolism, digestion, and DNA replication, ensuring that these processes occur quickly and at the right time without requiring excessive energy.
