User: explain how inclusive practices promotes equality and supports diversity

Weegy: Start by defining what is meant by inclusive practise. Is this in the workplace, in education, in services? It sounds like it relates to teaching. [ So here inclusive practise will mean ensuring that learners from all backgrounds can access learning (ie all are included) ? so this takes into consideration aspects of diversity including socio-economic background, race, religion, gender, linguistic background (do they have English as an Additional Language (EAL), for example). How do teachers ensure all can access learning? For example, if there is an EAL child present, the teacher will grade her language. For different ability levels, the teacher will differentiate activities so all children are sufficiently challenged. In terms of race, class projects go beyond white British topics ? the class may study black history or Asian art, dependent on who is in the class. All of this allows children to feel equal within the classroom ? no child is better than any other. The teacher will value all contributions regardless of religion, ability etc so no child feels out of place. In terms of diversity, if the teacher is inclusive and values diversity in the ways mentioned above, this promotes an appreciation of diversity in others. Children appreciate that people are different and unique and enjoy learning about different cultures etc. So crucially start by defining your understanding of the terms inclusive practise, diversity and equality. ]

User: explain how inclusive practice promotes eqality and supports divercity in care for the elderly

Weegy: The elderly are precious people. They are grandparents, or parents of someone that cares a great deal for them. Caring for them can become challenging if you do not know how it should be done. [ [ [ [ Many think that nursing homes and retirement homes are places that the elderly should reside. This is not the case. If you just take a moment to see that you yourself can care for the elderly too. # 2 Elderly require attention, they are in need of affection. They have so many stories to speak of about past times and or wars that they may have been around to see or be in. elderly do not ask for much. There may be an occasional card game they would enjoy playing. There are many volunteer programs that you can join to sit, read, or just listen to elderly people whom have no family members left. # 3 Contact a local nursing home to see if there are any volunteers need to help out with the daily activities. Do a neighborhood walk to introduce yourself to near by elderly. Inform them that you are there to help with what ever they may need. Elderly need to know that there is someone that cares for their well being. Read more: How to Take Care of Elderly People | eHow.com ] ] ] ]
