There are man that sometimes pretend not serious in you so you'd be more drawn to them. Also, you may be chasing the wrong man. Be confident. Man may not be interested in you now, but it'll happen at some point! They may not be now for many reasons: Hygiene, maturity, etc.

If you are looking for more in the relationship and he is not prepared to offer you more, then I would say move on. Not worth your time to worry about someone not being interested.
