who is apollo? User: who is eurycleia? User: who is allolus? User: is eurycleia odysseus' father User: is aeolus a phaeacian princess
Weegy: Book 10: Odysseus Tells His Story-At the Islandsof Aeolus and Circe Odysseus and his surviving crewmen now sail to the island of Aeolus, king of the winds. [ Aeolus gives Odysseus a bag containing all the winds that would blow him off his homeward course. They sail away and come close enough to Ithaca to see the watch-fires, when Odysseus falls asleep at the helm and his crew, thinking the bag contains a hoard of gold, untie it and release the captive winds - which blow them right back to Aeolus's island. Aeolus refuses to help them again, saying that they are obviously cursed by the gods. Odysseus and his crew set sail once more and eventually reach the land of the Laestrygonians, who destroy all but one of his ships. The survivors sail to Circe's island, where most of them are promptly turned into pigs by this enchantress. Odysseus, forewarned by Hermes, avoids Circe's trap and frees his men. They remain with Circe for a year before Odysseus's men ask to leave. Circe tells Odysseus that he must first visit the underworld and consult with the shade of the prophet Tiresias on how best to get home. ] User: who is odysseus's father? (More)

is eurolochus a troublemaking crewmember on the odussue's ship?
Weegy: Yes, it would seem that he was a bit of a troublemaker. From Wikipedia: In Greek mythology, Eurylochus, or Eurýlokhos (?????????) appears in Homer's Odyssey as second-in-command of Odysseus' ship during the return to Ithaca after the Trojan War. [ He was also a relative of Odysseus through marriage. He is portrayed as an unpleasant cowardly individual who undermines Odysseus and stirs up trouble. When the ship stopped on Aeaea, home of Circe the sorcress, Eurylochus and Odysseus draw lots to lead a group of twenty two men to explore the island. Eurylochus is chosen. After the crew spots a column of smoke, Eurylochus leads his expedition towards the source. They soon near a palace surrounded with wild but magically benign animals. Inside the palace is Circe singing, and (led by Polites) all of Eurylochus' party except for himself rush inside to greet her. Eurylochus suspects her treachery, and when she turns the rest of the expedition into pigs, Eurylochus escapes and warns Odysseus and the portion of the crew who stayed on the ship, thus enabling Odysseus to attempt a rescue. When Odysseus goes to save his men, Eurylochus refuses to guide him and urges him to escape and leave the men to their fate. When Odysseus returns from Circe having rescued the men, Eurylochus insults Odysseus. Odysseus considers killing him but the crewmen drag them apart. Although Circe, after making a truce with Odysseus, later instructed Odysseus not to touch the cattle on the island of the sun god Helios, Eurylochus convinced the hungry and mutinous crew to kill and eat some of them. As a punishment Odysseus' ship was destroyed and all of his crew, including Eurylochus, were killed in a storm sent by Zeus. Only Odysseus survived. The following events are not directly Odysseus's fault:

Zeus destroys the ship for Helios.
While Odysseus and his men are indirectly responsible for angering Helios by eating his cattle, it is ultimately Zeus who destroys their ship in retaliation. This event is not directly caused by Odysseus's actions.

Incurring Poseidon's wrath.
While Odysseus does incur Poseidon's wrath through his actions, it is primarily due to his blinding of Polyphemus, the Cyclops, rather than any direct fault of his own. However, this event can be seen as a consequence of Odysseus's actions rather than something directly caused by him.
