The commercial popularity of games can certainly impact people's desire to play them. High sales and widespread advertising can create buzz and intrigue around a game, prompting more individuals to give it a try. However, it is also possible that some individuals who were not previously interested in gaming may never develop an interest in it, regardless of a game's commercial success.
