=(-5+42+10) + (63+25+9)

= 15x^7 + 7x^5 + 4

x^2 + 3y^2 + 2xy, when x = 4 and y = 2:

(4)^2 + 3(2)^2 + 2(4)(2)

= 16 + 3(4) + (8)(2)

= 16 + 12 + 16

= 44

x^2 + 3y^2 + 2xy
= 4^2 + 3(2^2) + 2(4)(2)
= 16 + 12 + 16
