k + 9 = 6(k - 11)
k + 9 = (6)(k)+(6)(- 11)
k + 9 = 6k - 66
k + 9 = 66 - 6k
- 5k + 9 = - 66
- 5k = - 66 - 9
- 5k = - 75
k = - 75/ -5
k = 15
