Here are some of my attempts at Organization: Curriculum Development: Before the start of a semester I figure out approximately how many lessons I will teach, given my School Context, [ [ [ [ [ and try to allocate my time and teaching methods to heighten variety, create the optimum amount and frequency of review, et al. Keeping Track of what works: I always make sure to save (literally to a word document) whatever teaching idea I get from others or generate myself that works in my environment. When I have this list I can reference it quickly and since the list has grown quite large, it
allows me to keep my lesson planning from being excessively monotonous. Classifying; cataloging: I keep track of videos; news stories, basically any material I can use in class; I usually try to classify it via grammatical use, but there is a lot of overlap. There are a few more things I do, but I feel there are probably some obvious techniques i'm missing that if I added them to my "reportoire" I could be much more efficient and effective at my job.
