The Amazon Rainforest, also known as Amazonia, is the largest rainforest in the world and is renowned for its biodiversity. The Amazon River, which is the second longest river in the world and the one with the most water flow, also flows through this region. The largest portion of the Amazon, around 60%, is located in Brazil.
