what will you say in a paragraph form in order to attract the tourist to use baz bus
Many of the BazBus stops organize local excursions that will negate the need for having a car. [ That's not to say that you wouldn't enjoy the freedom of having your own vehicle, but you CAN successfully see much of South Africa in the way you initially were thinking of doing it. Don't give up on that idea just yet - it is a less common way to travel, so less well understood. Many of the backpackers and hostels have put a lot of effort into identifying, vetting and arranging transport to local destinations that have character, authenticity, and benefit the local community. Also, there is
something wonderful about needing to rely on local assistance at each point along the way. Public transportation, taxis, hiring bicycles, walking, taking group excursions, and sharing the cost of petrol for going in someone else's vehicle - these are all possibilities to think about. I love the serendipity that comes with this kind of thing, but then again I don't travel with a couple of young kids...
Regardless of your decision, let me put in a BIG plug for Bulungula as a replacement for Coffee Bay on your itinerary. You can fill 5 days at Bulungula easily, and it is a profoundly different (and better!) experience than anything in Coffee Bay. Check out and a detailed review is at afrikatourism.blogspot.com/2007/09/bulungula.html. This is responsible travel in the best sense and will be as amazing for your children as it will be for you. ]
