how is obama doing in terms of our relations with other nations
The U.S. has generally good relations with most countries of the world. Its prestige and respect are at a much higher level today than when George Bush was president.
This is not to say the U.S. [ doesn’t have enemies (it does) or that President Obama hasn’t made mistakes (he has). However, most of the world looks favorably on Barack Obama, and by extension, the U.S.
His relationship with Congress is another ball of wax altogether. Republicans control the House and have enough votes in the Senate to block most things. Since the Republican Party has adopted an anti-Obama, anti-American
stand (if it’s good for America, it’s good for Obama and bad for the Republican Party), he has not been very effective in getting much change.
