If pink snapdragons of the F1 hybrids (RW) are crossed with red snapdragons of the parent plant (RR), the ratio of flowers produced in 40 offspring will be 50:50, i.e. 20 of each.

In 40 plants, the probably ratio is 50% red and 50% pink flowers, or 20 of each.

The observation after two weeks will be: the plant in oxygen will be dead because plants must have carbon dioxide in order to photosynthesise; the plant in sunlight will be growing normally.

If the couple both have the Heterozygous Aa genotype, their gametes would have a 1 in 4 or 25 % chance of producing a child with aa genotype.

A normal appearing couple is found to be heterozygous recessive for albinism. Both have the genotype Aa. The gene responsible for albinism is recessive to the normal pigment-producing gene. The chances of their children being albino are 1 in 4, or 25%. The probability works out at 50% Aa (normal, carrier), 25% AA (normal) and 25% aa (albino).
