8 ways in which global warming impact on a community
Several people have already given the scientific definition of global warming so I am going to focus on how it is affecting our planet and communities. [ It is causing a greater amount of suffering for poor people (droughts in summers and extended snowfall in winter.) Unfortunately more damage is being done by men like Al Gore who latch on to bad solutions that sound good and subsidize them. For instance the drive to subsidize ethanol has caused many third world countries to focus all grain production towards ethanol resulting in their people starving. Also because the real solutions to
global warming (recycling, solar and wind power ETC) are long term no one is willing to invest in them. We have gotten into the fast food mindset with everything and it is hurting our planet. Major lifestyles are needed but until it becomes politically popular to call for them politicians will continue to back quick fixes that do more harm than good. ]
