7. What is one of the most important rules to remember about healthy eating?
Weegy: Eat food that is as close to its natural state as possible While it’s true that not everything found in nature is good for you, the stuff that’s been classified as food is a pretty safe bet. [ The advent of the modern-day diet industry initially taught us that we know better than Mother Nature but really – what are the chances of that? Over the past 50 years we as a people group have adhered to ever stricter diets and in the same time-frame Western-world rates of obesity, diabetes and heart disease have skyrocketed. Isn’t it time we got back to basics? My rule is to always choose foods that are as close to their natural state as possible. Eat the whole egg, not just the white. Choose full-fat organic dairy over low-fat, antibiotic-ridden dairy. Include a small amount of nature’s fats (organic meat, avocado, oils, nuts and seeds) in your diet rather than opting for the packaged foods that may be low in fat but are typically high in sugar, synthetic chemicals, and heavens knows what else. 1. Should fitness professionals recommend the total elimination of fat from the diet? A. No, but it's recommended that fat intake be limited to 30 percent of daily total calories. B. No, as long as fats are unsaturated, the amount doesn't need to be monitored. C. Yes, because the modern diet is too high in fats. D. Yes, because all fats can lead to various diseases.
Weegy: I'd say "B" . Your body needs some fats to function. Lowering fats too much lowers testosterone. Fats are calorie dense at 9 calories per gram and therfore; need monitoring. User: Why might fitness professionals want to have information for their clients on obtaining adequate sleep? A. Because adequate sleep is as important to fitness as exercise and healthy eating B. Because sleep requirements may interfere with exercise schedules C. Because fitness professionals tend to suffer from inadequate sleep themselves D. Because it's impossible to expect people to get enough sleep in this busy world Weegy: A. Because adequate sleep is as important to fitness as exercise and healthy eating (More)
