x^2+11x+30 = 0

x(x+5)+6(x+5)=0;

(x + 5) (x + 6) = 0;

x + 5 = 0; x = -5;
x + 6 = 0; x = -6;

x = {-6, -5}

x2+5x+6x+30=0
x(x+5)+6(x+5)=0
(x+6)(x+5)=0
so
x=-6 or x=-5.
