Fertilizer manufacturing and distribution employees are educated and trained to measure and continually improve the performance of the industry’s environmental systems.

regulations govern fertilizer manufacturing and distribution facilities. These include laws and regulations relating to minimizing air and water emissions; land reclamation; the generation, treatment, storage, disposal and handling of hazardous substances; the cleanup of hazardous substance releases; and the protection of facility workers and surrounding communities. Nutrient suppliers have a long tradition of implementing more than required minimums in its environmental, health and safety management systems. ]
