what about people who consider themselves non-religious? about there moral
Non-religous moral's are created by one of three things. The first one is the good of mankind/the world we live in (both contain the same thing) These are moral's which we learn from people above us, be it school's or parents. [ We question them then accept them. We accept them and follow them because we know that our life will be better if we do. Our society will also benefit. By having moral's life will be better.
The other reason is because the state threaten's us if we don't have them. You kill a person and the state puts you in prison for the rest of your life. You steal something, you
go to prison. These are enforced by the state and encourges you to accept them or waste away your life as a nothing.
Finally there is what other people think. Seeking acceptance. This encourage's you not to lie, to commit adultery etc.
Society around us present's us with morals. Its the same even with people who call themselves religous ]
