Weegy: The internet makes it so easy for people in the international business community to communicate in real time and conduct business quickly and efficiently, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. [ Any one able to produce a product can now make the world aware of their product or service without being forced to go to the expense of having to advertise in mainstream media. This includes the promotion payment and ongoing support for the product. There are a lot of businesses today that would not exist without the web t affects it, wholly, on a daily basis. Anymore, the and the connectivity the web provides is a cornerstone for nearly all the major businesses. If the "internet" were to fail tomorrow, unforetold havoc would be soon to follow. Mainly because of the easily available worldwide market. You, as an American business, can easily market your product to Japan, or Australia, and the same goes both ways. All facets of business have become extremely dependent on the interconnectivity the web has to offer. Without the web, with the current mindset, i'm 100% sure a good portion of businesses would fail if it were taken away. Only the strong would survive the impending change. The reason I say this is... Without e-mail, how do you contact your operators remotely? Go back to faxes? Sure. But that takes a fax machine, and a physical number. How many clients does an international business have at any given spot at one time? How many other clients do other businesses have at that same spot at any given time? An international hotspot, for example, may have 200 sales personnel at any given time.. All trying to get faxes from "corporate". It would be an absolute mess! We have become 100% dependent on the 'net. A major system-wide failure would be catastrophically difficult. ]
