In your own word, how much responsibility do parents have in allowing children exposure to depicting violence?
Parents have a significant responsibility in controlling the exposure of their children to depicting violence, as it is known that exposure to violent content can have negative effects on children's behavior, emotions, and overall well-being. Parents have the ability to monitor what their children are watching and playing, and also to set limits on their usage of media and technology. This includes supervising the type of TV shows, movies, video games, and social media content that their children are consuming, as well as setting time limits on their usage. It's also important for parents to
have open and honest conversations with their children about the impact of violence in media and real life, and to provide guidance on how to critically analyze and evaluate what they are viewing. Furthermore, parents can also provide alternative activities to their children to keep them occupied and away from depicting violence. By taking an active role in their children's media consumption, parents can help reduce the negative effects of violence in media and promote healthy development.
