User: describe the process that couses a water droplet to fall to earth as precipitation?

Weegy: Well the main culprit is the sun! The sun's energy evaporates liquid water, and changes its phase to water vapor. [ The vapor rises into the atmosphere, and becomes clouds, where the clouds condense and changes the vapor back into liquid, and whalla: rain drops falling on your head. That is the extreme simple explanation. Hope it helps ]
