Weegy: Cell is the basic unit of life.It is made up of a nucleus,mitochondria,ER,etc..these are termed as organelle.The organelle are scattered in a liquid called as cytoplasm.The cytoplasm is bound by a cell membrane. The cells carry out various functions [ such as respiration,photosynthesis(in plants),etc.Cells assume various structures according to their functions.Eg of cells: RBC,WBC,Nerve cell,etc When cells similar in structure and function come together they form tissue.Eg Blood.
