An easy way to find the sum of the measures of the interior angles of a regular heptagon is to use the formula for finding the sum of interior angles of a regular polygon.
Si= sum on interior angles
n= number of sides
Si = 180(n - 2)
Since a heptagon has 7 sides, we just plug in 7 for "n"
Si = 180(7 - 2)
Si = 180(5)
Si = 900
The lateral area of a triangular prism with base edges of 5cm, 12cm, and 13 cm and a base height of 14cm is:
(5 * 14) + (12 * 14) + (13 * 14) = 420
