Emergency Room -- Triage is normally the first stage the patient passes through, and most emergency departments have a dedicated area for this to take place, and may have staff dedicated to performing nothing but a triage role. This makes it possible for kitchen crew people to view orders placed at the front counter or drive through in real time. Wireless systems allow orders placed at drive through speakers to be taken by cashiers and cooks. Drive through and walk through configurations will allow orders to be taken at one register and paid at another. Modern point of sale systems can operate on computer networks using a variety of software programs. Sales records can be generated and remote access to computer reports can be given to corporate offices, managers, troubleshooters, and other authorized personnel. A department store is a retail establishment which satisfies a wide range of the consumer's personal and residential durable goods product needs; and at the same time offering the consumer a choice of multiple merchandise lines, at variable price points, in all product categories. Department stores usually sell products including apparel, furniture, home appliances, electronics, and additionally select other lines of products such as paint, hardware, toiletries, cosmetics, photographic equipment, jewellery, toys, and sporting goods. Certain department stores are further classified as discount stores. Discount department stores commonly have central customer checkout areas, generally in the front area of the store

Weegy: Positive economics (sometimes called Descriptive Economics) is the study of economic reality and why the economy operates as it does. It is biased purely on facts rather than opinions. [ [ This type of economics is made up of positive statements which can be accepted or rejected through applying the scientific method. "Americans bought five million CDs last year" is a positive statement - a simple declaration of fact. Normative economics (also called Policy Economics) deals with how the world ought to be. In this type of economics, opinions or value judgments - known as normative statements - are common. "We should reduce taxes" is an example of a normative statement. ] ] (More)
