Personal accountability is the act of taking responsibility for your actions. This is important in all areas of life namely personal, academic, and professional goal setting . When it comes to academics this is very important, because it is very easy to cheat to get ahead. When a person cuts corners, he or she is not only unfair to himself or herself, but also other classmates and even future employers. And there can be negative ramifications in the future.

Even when it comes to personal goal setting, it is important to have personal accountability, because no one will know if you reached your goals or not, as they are personal. Moreover, no one knows if we have tried our best better than ourselves. Hence, to have integrity in this area is essential for optimal growth.

Also, consider the opposite: what happens if you do not set coursework as a priority? What will it take away? What motivates you to set that priority? Thank you.
Weegy: When you don't complete your coursework, you lose out on exemplifying to your instructors what you have truly learned and you also lose about 30% of your final grade. [ It takes away your growth potential and the possibility of being recognized amongst others. Your motivation should come with knowing that this will affect you in your progress and not having to the suffer the consequences of failing that class and being held back for it. I mean unless there is something very important going on with my family. But then again I also tell my son how very important school is and how getting good ...
Weegy: It is always great to help others. Giving is a way to give ourselves a gift later in the future. However, with all things there must be a balanced maintained. [ With all good comes the bad, yet it teaches us to appreciate life and to continue in growth. Remember you have to help others in life, but it is also important to continue to help yourself. Set aside certain days where you make it a point to focus on making you more productive, etc. Also give time to your son, because they value our time with them as parents. As long as you remember that balance is what makes things flow harmoniously, you will be just fine. Thanks for using Weegy and rate good if you are pleased with your answer! :-) ] (More)
