6x – 5 > -17, first, add 5 to both sides: 6x > -12. Then, divide both sides by 6: x > -2. Your answer is x > -2.

That's odd. I answered an inequality question a while back and the inequality also did not show up in the conversation window. Is there a glitch that's not letting the ">" or "<" signs show up on their own?

Well, apparently it shows up sometimes and other times it also erases the letter "x" with it when entered. I guess this must be the problem shifa saleheen was talking about in the blog.

Another expert posted something about some math signs not showing up. It was posted in the blog, but I can't remember who it was or all the details. I don't know how to solve inequalities (been out of school to long to remember) so I haven't had that come up. I think all other math signs are working okay.

I notice it does this mostly with the "<" sign. I wonder if it's picking it up as part of an html code and that's why it's not showing up.

You graph x < -5 on a number line by drawing an open circle on -5 and then shading or darkening everything to the left of it.

Multiply: (-3xy2) (-7x2y4 **Weegy:** (-3xy^(2))(-7x^(2)y^(4))
Multiply -3xy^(2) by -7x^(2)y^(4) to get 21x^(3)y^(6).
(21x^(3)y^(6))
Remove the parentheses around the expression 21x^(3)y^(6).
21x^(3)y^(6) thank you and have a nice day ahead **User:** Simplify: (6ab2)2
C2
