What is the quotient of 12/7 and 4/9?
To divide fractions you invert the second fraction and multiply. Therefore the question becomes 12/7 * 9/4 = 108/28 = 3 6/7 simplified. The answer is 3 6/7

12/7 ÷ 4/9

= 12/7 * 9/4

= (12 * 9) / (7 * 4)

= 108/28

= 27/7 or 3 6/7
