if 1/4 of a number is 35. 105 is 3/4 of the same number.

If the number is x

1/4x = 35

x = 35*4

x = 140

3/4*140 = 420/4 = 105

If the number is x

1/4x = 35

x = 35*4

x = 140

3/4*140 = 420/4 = 105
