A corporation is liable for the torts and crimes that are committed by its agents and employees when they are acting within the scope of their employment. Directors, officers, and employees are personally liable for the torts and crimes that they commit within the scope of their employment. Can and should these principles be applied to the disaster at the Deepwater Horizon offshore oil drilling platform in April 2010? If so, how?
Weegy: I don't believe that the company necessary committed any crime. The fact of the matter is, accidents happen and I don't believe any company would initiate a disaster such as this. [ [ That said, they ought to be held responsible for the issues that they caused, but legal action I don't think is necessary in terms of criminal punishment. ] (More)

Guitarists hoping for a little country music magic in their playing can now buy an instrument carved out of oak pews from the former grand ole opry, only 243 of the Ryman limited edition acoustic guitars are being made, each costing 6,250. Among the first customers were singers Vince Gill, Amy Grant and Loretta Lynn. Ms Lynn purchased two guitars, what would be the total revenue received by Washburn if all the guitars are sold?
Weegy: Well if each guitar is $6250 as stated and all 243 are sold, than the total money made would be equivalent to 243x6250=$1,518,750 Assuming there are no taxes to be paid! User: Under Washburn’s old pay system, phone reps received a commission of 1.5% only on instruments sold. Now the phone reps are paid an extra .75% commission on field sales made in their territory; the outside salepeople still get a commission up to 8%, freeing them to focus on introducing new products and holding in-store clinics. Assume sales were $65,500 (a) how much would phone reps receive? (b) how much would the outside salespeople receive? Weegy: If sales were $65,500 and Phone reps make 2.25% Than the Reps would receive $1473.75 and the outside salespeople would receive $5240. Thank you for using weegy User: Washburn introduced the limited edition EA27 Gregg Allman signature series festival guitar, only were produced with a selling price of 1,449.90. Weegy: Washburn had introduced the Limited Edition EA27 Gregg Allman Signature Series Festival guitar; only 500 guitars will be produced [NOTE: Actually incorrect, as only 150 were produced. This one is #123 of 150]. List price is $1,449.90.
