User: How can you become immortal?
Weegy: I have only run into this in 2 places.
1) Ancient Greece. If one of the Gods (immortals) was really impressed with you, and this had to be big time, He/She could grant you immortality. I've encountered this 4 times in the ancient Greek writings. It was only carried through to completion twice, with Hercules and Psyche.
2) In Hinduism. If you do Yoga, study the Vedas and the Upanashads (sp?) long enough and hard enough, say from youth to 60 years old, you can actually turn into a God. No guarantee. This is still believed today in India.
