Are you the one [ counting out your till or is someone else? If it is someone else, tell them you want to perform the first count.
If you know you are not taking from the till, and yours are not the only hands in there, and the boss won't do anything about it, find another job.
In my case, it was the boss and his wife that kept going into my till and then short changing my paycheck.
