Another significance for the Filipino revolts
Philippine revolts against Spain. [ During the Spanish colonial period in the Philippines, there were several revolts against of the Spanish colonial government by native-born Filipinos and Chinese, often with the goal of re-establishing the rights and powers that had traditionally belonged to tribal chiefs and Chinese traders. Most of these revolts failed because the majority of the native
population sided up with the Spanish colonial government and fought with the Spanish to put down the revolts. ]

importance of dagohoy's revolt ?
Weegy: The famous Dagohoy Rebellion, also known as Dagohoy Revolution or Dagohoy Revolt, is considered as the longest rebellion in Philippine history. [ Led by Francisco Dagohoy, also known as Francisco Sendrijas, this rebellion took place in the island of Bohol from 1744 to 1829,[1] roughly 85 years. It was one of two significant revolts that occurred in Bohol, Philippines during the Spanish Era. The other one was the Tamblot Uprising in 1621 led by Tamblot, a babaylan or native priest from Bohol which was basically a religious conflict.[2] Unlike the Tamblot revolt, the Dagohoy rebellion was not a religious conflict. Rather, it was like most of the early revolts which were ignited by forced labor, Spanish oppression, bandala, excessive tax collection and payment of tributes.[3] On top of these injustices of the Jesuit priests, what triggered Dagohoy most was the refusal of the Jesuit priest to give a Christian burial to his brother who died in service while chasing a fugitive who went against Christianity. This provided the impetus for Dagohoy to call upon his fellow Boholanos to raise arms against the oppressors. The rebellion outlasted several Spanish Governors General and several missions. ] (More)

importance of tamblot's uprising ?
Weegy: About thirty years after the Spanish established themselves on Cebu, on 17 November 1596, two Jesuit priests, Juan de Torres and Gabriel Sánchez, arrived in Baclayon on Bohol. [ It is said that the mother of the encomiendero of Bohol, Doña Catalina de Bolaños invited them. They established their headquarters in Baclayon, and quickly started to spread the Catholic faith on the island. Only a few years after the Jesuits' arrival, on 26 October 1600, Baclayon was raided by some 300 Maguindanao Moros commanded by Datu Sali and Datu Sirongan. In response, the Jesuits moved their headquarters to the inland town of Loboc, at a safe distance from the coast. Since then, until the departure of the Jesuits from the Philippines in 1768, Loboc has been the residence of the local Jesuit superior. Here they also founded the first parish on the island in 1602, followed in 1604 by a school, the Seminario Colegio de Indios, a training school for the children of the local ruling class. The new religion was not easily accepted by all.[3] [edit]Tamblot’s challenge When the Boholanos began to convert to Christianity, Tamblot issued a challenge to the Spanish priest as to whose God was more powerful. The challenge was who can produce rice and wine from the bamboo stalk. The Spanish priest prayed to his god, of course in Latin, and then cut the bamboo stalk from a grove but no rice and wine came out. Tamblot then prayed to Ay Sono and then cut the bamboo stalk from a grove and out came rice and wine. (“Medina’s Historia 1630-34,” Blair & Robertson, Vol. 24, p. 116). Tamblot won the challenge and the people sided with Tamblot. Only the towns of Baclayon and Loboc remained loyal to the Spaniards. The Spaniards said it was trickery and the work of the demons. Yet the same account in “Medina’s Historia” said that when Alcalde Mayor Juan Alcarazo was hit by a stone, got wounded and fell to the ground, he allegedly arose cured by calling on the Holy Child. ] (More)

6 simple machines and give its uses
Weegy: 1)Wheel & Axle: A wheel is a circular device that is attached to a rigid bar in its center. A force applied to the wheel causes the axle to rotate, which can be used to magnify the force (by, for example, having a rope wind around the axle). [ Alternately, a force applied to provide rotation on the axle translates into rotation of the wheel. It can be viewed as a type of lever that rotates around a center fulcrum. Ferris wheels, tires, and rolling pins are examples of wheels & axles. 2)Inclined Plane: An inclined plane is a plane surface set at an angle to another surface. This results in doing the same amount of work by applying the force over a longer distance. The most basic inclined plane is a ramp; it requires less force to move up a ramp to a higher elevation than to climb to that height vertically. The wedge is often considered a specific type of inclined plane. 3)Wedge: A wedge is a double-inclined plane (both sides are inclined) that moves to exert a force along the lengths of the sides. The force is perpendicular to the inclined surfaces, so it pushes two objects (or portions of a single object) apart. Axes, knives, and chisels are all wedges. The common "door wedge" uses the force on the surfaces to provide friction, rather than separate things, but it's still fundamentally a wedge. 4)Screw: A screw is a shaft that has a in inclined groove along its surface. By rotating the screw (applying a torque), the force is applied perpendicular to the groove, thus translating a rotational force into a linear one. It is frequently used to fasten objects together (as the hardware screw & bolt does), although Babylonians developed a "screw" that could elevate water from a low-lying body to a higher one (which later came to be known as Archimedes' screw). 5)Pulley: A pulley is a wheel with a groove along its edge, where a rope or cable can be placed. It uses the principle of applying force over a longer distance, and also the tension in the rope or cable, ... (More)

Weegy: the answer is x+3 : based on the equation [(x+3)(x+7)]/(x+7) just cancel x+7 and x+3 will be remained. Use factoring to get (x+3)(x+7) = (x^2+10x+21) (More)
