Weegy: Did you try making sure it's selected to SAT? There's a button that says SAT at the top, that has to be highlighted in order to control changing channels.
Expert answered|brunaleski|Points 164|User: none of the mode buttons on the top are lighted up
Weegy: Maybe change the batteries?

Expert answered|ANGEEELICA|Points 2440|User: how do i find my remote code?
Weegy: For remotes that have blue arrow and Select buttons and 4 separate mode buttons (SAT TV VCR AUX):
*If you start this procedure and at any time do not press a button within 20 seconds, the remote will end the procedure automatically. [ Simply start over again.
Press and hold the desired mode button (about three seconds) until all mode keys light up, then release.
Use the number pad buttons to enter the three-digit number corresponding to the equipment (click here to view remote codes). The light will blink off after each digit is entered and then return to a steady light.
Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.
To verify the code works, try several functions for that equipment. ]
Note: Enter the code on the remote's numbered keypad for the equipment.
User: it doesnt have a blue arrow it has a green number one and four mode buttons
Weegy: If your code could not be found push the mode button for the desired device. Hold the selected device button down until it blinks.
Now use the (CH+) and (CH-) buttons to hunt for the correct code. [ Using a steady pace push the (CH+) button then the (ON/OFF) button repeatedly until the device turns off. If you think you skipped a code you can use the (CH-) button to get back to it. ]
