In your Weegy expert opinion , Personal ethics propel action because they represent the inner morals and values. Ethics are also known as moral philosophy, this involves defending and recommending concepts of right and wrong behavior. There is a term called consequentialism which argues that the morality of an action is contingent on the actions outcome or result. I believe that ethical actions are those that provide good over evil. How I would use my personal ethics to determine a course of action is to analyze each situation before acting on impulse.

what process do you use to complete a writing assignment, and how well do you think this pricess works for you
Weegy: In writing university assignments, students are required to think clearly and critically, use valid evidence and produce well-structured and coherent pieces of writing. [ This applies broadly in all academic fields of study (disciplines). Writing at university is different from some workplace writing. For example, at work a concise listing of points may be required but, at university, students are expected to elaborate on points with argument and explanation. Tertiary writing requirements also differ from the writing students are expected to do in secondary school. University students are usually expected to research more widely and in more depth. Assignments set at university also tend to be longer. As well, university students may be expected to take a more critical and questioning attitude to knowledge than may have been required in secondary school. The writing university students are required to do for their subjects can involve a range of text types - essays, reports, papers based on case studies, literature reviews and short answers/problem solving of tutorial questions. Writing at university must be based on reading and investigation. It is expected to present more than the writer's 'opinion' based solely on past experience and general knowledge. Though all academic disciplines share a common core and require intellectual rigour and skills, they have different traditions of scholarship. Writing and research in business subjects is quite different from writing and research in psychology, for example. It is vital to carefully read the assignment description and any explanatory notes provided. Also, be alert for any comments that the lecturer may make about the assignment. Try to work out why a particular assessment task has been set. Can you figure out how it relates to the goals of the subject, as set out in the unit guide? Another useful strategy is to determine what the assignment is designed to evaluate. ] (More)

how can developing an efective study environment build your reading comprehension
Weegy: Developing reading comprehension skills proves, for many, to be a challenging task; however, working to develop these skills is a requisite to ensuring literacy. [ While quiet and sedate activities, such as reading silently, are necessary as students build their abilities to read, not all activities need to be so passive. If working to make your students master readers, engage them in some interactive games to make the practice of building comprehension skills more enjoyable. Read more: ] (More)

as people are more often using cell phones, text messaging, and email, what is the role of formal writing? how do these digital communication methods influence the writing process?
Weegy: Well from personal experience I have found that when using text messages and email communications I do not always use formal communication or writing, more like common text messaging lingo if you will. [ For instance, when using these types of communication, we tend to use basic lingo or slang; we do not use proper English or grammar. So there for these types of communication limit our ability to perform formal writing in terms of team work and so forth, in both the academic and professional environments. I have done a tad bit of research on text and email communication and how it affects individual's formal writing. In my initial findings I have found that by using email and text messaging communication we are limiting our ability to perform proper writing. A professor at the University of Georgia has conducted research on this particular matter. She wrote an article about effects of communicative technologies. This article is focused on High School Students. However, I still believe it is relevant to what we are discussing here. Please see the following quote, on the abstract of this professor's article. According to (Holly Frilot, 2005), "Communicative technologies, such as instant messaging, text messaging, and email, are popular with many of today's high school students. Through these types of communicative technologies students develop nontraditional spellings and abbreviations - a lingo of their own. This study examined the correlations between the writing students use within communicative technologies and writing for school purposes. Students participated in two interviews, a questionnaire, and submitted several class assignments to be evaluated for instances of communicative technology shorthand. ] (More)
