Bodily injury liability coverage – pays for bodily injury or death resulting from an accident for which you are at fault and provides you with a legal defense. Property damage liability coverage – provides you with protection if your car accidentally damages another person's property. It also provides you with a legal defense. Medical payments, no-fault or personal injury coverage – usually pays for the medical expenses of the driver and passengers in your car incurred as a result of a covered accident regardless of fault. Uninsured motorist coverage – pays for your injuries and, in some circumstances, certain property damage caused by an uninsured or a hit-and-run driver. In some cases, underinsured motorist coverage is also included. This is for cases in which the at-fault driver has insufficient insurance. Comprehensive physical damage coverage – pays for damage to your car from theft, vandalism, flood, fire, and other covered perils. Collision coverage – pays for damage to your car when it hits or is hit by another object.

Alex_850. Please try not to answer using other Q&A sites such as ChaCha, Wiki Answers, or Yahoo Answers, especially when the answer is so easily found using other sources. Use Q&A sites as a last resort.

alex, Kaysha said to use those sources as a last resort. Not that you can't ever use them, but usually there is a better source. Answers from Q&A sites are not verified.

I did not say you can't. I said TRY. The answer you provided can be found using a more accurate and reliable source. The problem with Q&A sites is you don't know if the answer is truly correct. They are answered by experts just like us and all answers are not verified.
I am only giving this advice because when I first started Weegy, I used Q&A sites a lot because it was the first option when you Google, but then I found that I was being flagged a lot by Moderators because the answers were wrong. Too many flags will cause your account to become suspended. I am only trying to help.
Just be advised that the job of a Moderator is the enforce the rules governed by the Weegy Team and to guide new experts. The Weegy Basics states: " To add credibility to your answer, always provide a link, if available, to a source that confirms its accuracy especially when you obtain information from another site. Links to Q&A sites should be used only if no other options are available."

Hi ShredHead21- you should always try to answer the users question. Sometimes the user is not very fluent in English and it is a little hard to understand or they are asking for the definition of the word and can't quite spell it. Do your best to decipher the question and answer as accurately as possible.

Most of the world's supply of fresh water comes from lakes, rivers, streams, wells, melting glaciers, icebergs and icecaps. So these are the main sources where water is found. A small amount of fresh water is obtained by desalination of sea water, a process utilized by countries in which water is a limited resource e.g. Middle East countries.

Most of the earth's fresh water is stored as ice in the Arctic and Antarctic regions of the globe. About 1.7% of the earth's entire water supply exists in icecaps.
Other useful statistics:
Approx. 97.5% of the earth's water is stored in the ocean and is not usable because it is saline.
The remaining 2.5% is freshwater:
1.7% is found in ice caps.
0.7% is found as groundwater.
0.02% is found in lakes, streams, rivers, etc.
0.001% is found in the atmosphere.
0.001% is found as soil moisture.
0.0001% is found in biological organisms.
Keep in mind that statistics vary from source to source, but this provides a general idea of the order of magnitude difference between volumes of water stored on earth.
Polar ice (about 75%)

A man named Hans Lipperhey invented the telescope. He was born in Wesel, Germany and made his home in Middleburg, part of the Zeeland province in the Netherlands.
Many other people claim to have invented the telescope, but Hans Lipperhey is the only person documented to have applied for a patent for the device.
