Question and answer
Q: describe the components of mental well - being
A: According to the Canadian Mental Health Association, mental well-being is not just the absence of mental illness, but also the existence of components of well-being, such as: The ability to enjoy life. Resilience, [ or the ability to bounce back from tough times. Balance with the various aspects of your life. Self-actualization, or ability to recognize and develop strengths. Flexibility to
express a range of emotions. These components of mental well-being can be influenced by different environments, such as your home, community, school and workplace. For different age groups, the measures or markers of mental well-being can be quite different. For instance, the factors that affect the mental health of a child may be much different from the factors that affect a parent, a worker, or an older adult. ]
