Weegy: They mostly hated the monarchy and especially Marie Antoinette, who spent money lavishly on her lifestyle, while the people were starving to death. [ I am sure hunger was an issue, but also they wanted to get rid of the king and have a more democratic type of government, such as the Parliament in England. The people were treated very badly at that time and were just fed up with it. The answer is letter D. all of the above. ]
