Question and answer
Explain how person centred practice can result in positive changes in individuals’ lives?
For people being supported by services, it is not person centred planning that matters as much as the pervasive presence of person centred thinking. [ If people who use services are to have positive control over their lives, if they are to have self directed lives within their own communities then those who are around the person, especially those who do the day to day work need to have person
centred thinking skills. Only a small percentage of people need to know how to write good person centred plans, but everyone involved needs to have good skills in person centred thinking, in the value based skills that underlie the planning. ]

explain how person centred practice informs the way in which consent is established with individuals
Weegy: explain how person centred practice informs the way in which consent is established with individuals - - in order to provide care, we have to seek consent from the service user. if they are not capable then their legal representative. [ ways: written, verbal, body language.. when you have established their consent you will write their care plan with their help and others (relevant people, e.g drs, previous carers etc.) look up your policy on consent, it should all be explained in there, as they have the right to withdraw their consent if they wish so. ] (More)
