How do these regulations effect the management of employees, resources, patients, and health care?
Weegy: Hippaa regulations are meant to protect a patient's privacy in the fact that all healthcare workers directly involved in a patient's care are restricted in the information that can be given out about that patient to those not directly involved in [ patient care. So if someone asks me how the patient is doing, I am not permitted to say. It makes me seem rude, but that would be a HIPPAA violation. HIPPAA includes all forms of communication from leaving voicemails with pt, information to the paper reports that can be faxed to different locations. Hope this was helpful. ] (More)
