Let the larger number X and the smaller be y then ,

3y+5 = x ...1

x-y = 35 ....2

From 2 -> x = 35+y

Putting its value in 1 3y+5 = 35+y

3y-y = 30

y = 30/2 = 15 .

Putting y's value in 2 ->

x = 35+15

= 50

3y+5 = x ...1

x-y = 35 ....2

From 2 -> x = 35+y

Putting its value in 1 3y+5 = 35+y

3y-y = 30

y = 30/2 = 15 .

Putting y's value in 2 ->

x = 35+15

= 50

-8a^3b + 3a^2b^2 - 5 + (2 + 5a^2b^2) + (3a^3b + 7 - 9a^2b^2)

= -8a^3b + 3a^3b + 3a^2b^2 + 5a^2b^2 - 9a^2b^2 - 5 + 2 + 7

= -5a^3b - a^2b^2 + 4

= -8a^3b + 3a^3b + 3a^2b^2 + 5a^2b^2 - 9a^2b^2 - 5 + 2 + 7

= -5a^3b - a^2b^2 + 4

The hypotenuse of a right triangle is 25 cm, and the shorter leg is 15 cm. The length of the other leg is 20cm.

Let the other leg is d

d^2 = 25^2 - 15^2

d^2 = 625 - 225

d^2 = 400

d = 20

Let the other leg is d

d^2 = 25^2 - 15^2

d^2 = 625 - 225

d^2 = 400

d = 20
