Note: It is important mainly because it denotes a discipline which systematically studies the labellings or designating of concepts particular to one or more subject fields or domains of human activity, when doctors are talking to other doctors or nurses [ or insurance companies and such, they need to have a common language that they all understand, [ and in general they all know the needed medical terms. Using correct medical terminology is critical, as using incorrect could result in the wrong diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan and needlessly worry the patients. [ It is also important, as it may affect the health insurance if written down improperly. A potential problems if medical terminology is used incorrectly is that the patient could be given ineffective or harmful treatment and misdiagnosis or even it will result to accidental death of the patient. ]
