Why do you think it is important to evaluate information for relevancy, reliability, and bias? What are possible consequences for not conducting this evaluation
Relevance is an important aspect of information quality, this will show if the information you're using is relevant to the topic you're writing about. Also you should consider the reliability of the source and the information you're using. [ All these ensure that you use is reliable, relevant and it's not bias in any way. Evaluating information encourages you to think critically about the
reliability, validity, accuracy, authority, timeliness, point of view or bias of information sources. Just because a book, article, or website matches your search criteria and thus seems, at face value, to be relevant to your research, does not mean that it is necessarily a reliable source of information. It is important to remember that sources of information comprising the Library's print and electronic collections have already been evaluated for inclusion among the Llbrary's resources. However, this does not necessarily mean that these sources are relevant to your research This does not necessarily apply to sources of information on the Web for the general public. Many of us with Internet/Web accounts are potential publishers of websites; most of this content is published without editorial review. Think about it. Many resources are available to help with evaluating web pages. ]

Weegy: Individual diversity allows the team to explore more ideas and come up with better solutions in the real diverse world. What a homogeneous group brings to the table is more limited. [ What they take from the table may work only for their group- not for groups containing more diverse individuals. To maximize the benefits, no one should dominate. All are given respect and a hearing. Open minds are needed. The solutions the group creates should represent a true consensus. Conflict within a group of diverse people will happen. Set clear rules so that all can express themselves and be respected. Make sure that the atmosphere stays win-win. Talk about win-win up front. Look at the group that will be applying whatever the team decides. What kind of diversity is there? How does each team member relate to that group? Practical solutions are those that work for the group that applies the solution, not those that the decision-making team likes best.
