Select two netiquette guidelines. In a paragraph of no less than 125 words, explain why these guidelines make professional online communication more effective.
Weegy: The first and most important netiquette guideline, I believe is the Use of Computer Courtesy. Having courtesy with others while online, in chat rooms, social networking, email etc. is very important. [ You always want to treat people with respect whether it is face to face, over the phone, or in this circumstance online. Another important netiquette guideline is to use emoticons. Considering the person on the other side of the computer cannot see you, it is important to use emoticons so they can understand your emotion at the time. Being online, it is very difficult to tell how the other person is feeling and words can be misinterpreted for being disrespectful, by using emoticons you are showing the exact emotion you are feeling at that time. ] (More)

Make sure you provide all the details in the subject line in case the receiver does not have time to read the whole e-mail. Use the subject line wisely to let your reader know the main purpose of the e-mail. Try to keep the subject line very short, such as just one or two words.
