About 9 of 10 U.S. households have TV remote controls. There were 115,800,000 U.S. households in 1998. 104,220,000 households have TV remote controls.
9/10 = 0.9 = 90%
x/115,800,000 = 90/100
100x = 90(115,800,000)
100x = 10,422,000,000
x = 10,422,000,000/100
x = 104,220,000
