Steroids typically are thought of as negative medications in today's society because of the publicized abuse by many sports figures, athletes and bodybuilders. Steroids allow the body to build lean muscle mass despite genetic limitations, and for those with medical conditions for which steroids are part of the treatment, weight gain sometimes is inevitable. To avoid weight gain while using steroids, you can alter your diet and exercise routine. Eat a diet with more fresh fruits and vegetables, and incorporate lean protein sources such as poultry and legumes. Adding a bit more cardio to your exercise regimen also will help reduce the amount of weight gain associated with steroid use. Keep drinking plenty of fluids in order to stay hydrated and avoid unnecessary weight gain. Why Do Steroids Make You Gain Weight? | eHow.com

Suppose Earth's gravitational force were decreased by half. How would this change affect a game of basketball? Write a paragraph explaining how the motion of the players and the ball would be different.
Weegy: If the gravitational pull will be decreased by half thatmeans the value of g is 4.9 m/s^2 now than the normal 9.8 m/s^2. now since all the equations of motions have g in it so it would definitely affect the speed, velocity, [ distance travelled in any given direction by the ball and players. Since the equations of parabolic motion also contain g. It will affect the time of flight, maximum height, horizontal displacement of the ball as well as the players. ] (More)
