Question and answer
describe the importance of promoting anti-discriminatory practice in work with children and young people
It is important that people working with children are aware of this so that their practice enables the children to develop positive attitudes to differences of race, culture, religion and gender' - so says the Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995. [ Anti-discriminatory practice is also a requirement of the curriculum guidance for the Foundation Stage and the national standards for the
regulation of under-eights daycare and childminding in England. ................ ]
