Describe ways to contribute to an environment that promotes well-being
Weegy: 1. Do not watch TV. You are made to desire things that you do not need. 2. Do not buy at Walmart. [ You are buying not well made goods and are made by people in a far away land (used to be manufactured here but was outsourced in the name of profit, stock holders and noisy unions). 3. Read. Not graphic novels or magazines with lots of pictures. Books with words. You will then be required to visualize what you read and this is a lot richer than the usual stuff on TV. (And without commercials for stuff you don't need). 4. Don't eat fast foods. Yes, they taste good but, and this is a big butt, gravity and staring at a TV (that again!) will dispatch you from this existence faster than you can imagine. ] (More)

Weegy: By realising that the people I work with are adults and have a right to choose the way they are treated or cared for, take their medication and to decide if they need certain precaution measures. Finding a balance for those who wish to be, [ and letting them be as independent as possible, so long as that while doing so they do not put themselves or others at fatal risk. Coming to a mutual agreement over their care plans. 2 you support individuals to communicate their views and preferences regarding their current and future health and well-being needs and prioritiesA support workers role involves actively supporting a client to promote independence. During their time within our care setting the client is assessed towards his eventual move on into a different setting to suit their needs. This may include own flat, nursing home, back with family, or other housing providers. It is important that during their stay residents are taught the necessary skills that may need to change to this new environment, for example the ability to shop, budgeting skills, basic cooking, socialising with people, and who to call if they need help. Many of our residents have been institutionalised for many years so moving on can seem daunting and a massive step. It is therefore an important part of a key workers role to promote and encourage their clients in this area. ] (More)
