Question and answer
state 3 ways in which parents can raise boys and girls to encourage equal power relation
Parents often make the mistake that all their children have close personalities, but in truth, it is not so. For example one child may excel in sports while another boy in the family loves to read or draw and the same goes for the girls. [ There is always a leader of the pack (more than two children) and there will always be some discord, but if they are taught to communicate with each other and
with their parents as far as what is right or wrong they will settle in and as they get older they will mature and most get along just fine even if they have their own individual personalities. Some families have a 'Panel' or 'Family Meeting' when there is too much discord and all sit down and discuss the problem and come to some agreement in a calm way. There should also be house rules and all the children should have chores to do around the house.Parents often make the mistake that all their children have close personalities, but in truth, it is not so. how media influnces your self esteem
Weegy: The impact of media on self-esteem We are becoming more aware of the impact of media on self-esteem. [ The media has affected everyone; you can see the unhealthy impact of the media in girls, boys, women and men. The media and it's sponsoring advertisers, wants you to believe that you and/or your life is somehow imperfect. You are led to believe that Supermodels, celebrities, magazines, and several icons all of whom are given much attention because of their physical looks, abundant wealth, and lifestyles, are happier and more lovable than we are. This results in an incorrect belief that we should emulate them, rather than supporting real love of self. This has made it difficult for us to feel self-assured with whom we naturally are. It causes tremendous trauma in our psyches, and can actually be considered emotionally abusive, as we are unconsciously directed by the media to seek people, places and products for our fulfillment and perfection. We impose unnecessary stress and suffer terribly from constantly comparing ourselves to others. The so called them, do not really exist. ] (More)
