why are there organism specific organelles for plants and animals?
Weegy: To understand organelles, it helps to know how they fit into the cellular structure. Complex organisms, like plants and animals, are made up of a variety of cells. [ Each cell has a unique function within in the organism and is made up of a variety of parts. This includes the membrane, which serves as the outer layer of the cell. Inside this membrane is where the organelles are housed. But while both plant cells and animal cells have vacuoles, plant vacuoles tend to be very large, often comprising up to 90 percent of the cell. Animal vacuoles are very small or sometimes not present at all. Beyond this, plant cells contain some organelles that animal cells do not have, and animal cells contain one organelle that plants do not have.
