Weegy: She uses dialogue in the story as emphasis for points where description wouldn't have as much of an impact by itself. Other methods she used to show what her farm girl life was like was her use of concrete detail. Hemauer establishes her credibility in this essay by putting all her feelings out there for all the readers to see and feel.
